Interactive publication designed for tablets on the history of the legendary Chelsea Hotel in New York City focusing on the artists, writers, and musicians who lived there. Over a number of issues the publication would cover the complete history of the building and its notable inhabitants. This particular issue was focused on Patti Smith and Robert Mapplethorpe, Bob Dylan, and Andy Warhol's Factory muses Edie Sedgwick and Nico, all of whom resided there between 1965 and 1975. Designing the publication specifically for tablets allowed for the dynamic use of sound, video, and layers of information via slideshows, pop-ups, and tabs, all formatted in a more traditional editorial layout.
